Janet’s Book Nook

For those of you who don’t know I live about 45 minutes North of New Orleans. This time of year in our area is Mardi Gras. So today was the Kindergarden parade at my daughter’s school. They all dressed up like safari animals and they decorated wagons and they threw beads to the older children at school. The parade then left the school grounds and paraded through the neighborhood in front of all of the homes. It was the best day! Those kids had an amazing time and they laughed so that I was cracking up laughing the whole time. I love my child’s school. They are academically centered but they find so many neat and wonderful ways to enrich the children that go above and beyond just academics.
