I have been in my home for 5 years now and I am still living with the garden/landscaping that was installed by the builder. I am not a very good gardener and usually my mother in law comes over once a season and changes out the flowers in my front flower bed. The rest of my landscaping consist of two sweet olive trees, that I love so very much and a couple of bushes. We are going to be putting in a new cement driveway and a huge party patio. We also are putting in a fence to seperate the back of our property (1 acre) from the front. This will keep the horses and barn away from the kids’ play area. So I am now looking to landscape the back yard also. I need some suggestions on books or magazines I can look through to get ideas for layouts. Anyone? They have to be manageable for someone who doesn’t do well with plants.

I’ll be watching this post closely. I too could use some suggestions as I’m not so great either.
