I have had one of those weeks this week. It seems like everyone I come in contact with is rude. I don’t know what is going on with people. I am very rarely rude to people and usually if I am it is in response to something they have done. This week I have receieved the most self-centered and rude responses from people. I am a see the whole picture kind of person and as such I can usually sympathize with people and understand they are responding as a result of their life experiences. This week has been different. It just feels like people are just being mean! They just need to make someone (ME!) feel bad and this is a tough thing for me. I am also a type of person who stands up for myself and so it is also very hard when people are just being self centered for me to back down and not stand up for myself. I have learned a valuable lesson though. Sometimes the things you don’t say are heard much more loudly than the things you do say!
