Janet’s Book Nook

So here is my one brush (almost) with fame. Well not really. See I live very close to New Orleans. This past weekend I took a trip down to the city to meet some friends for dinner and drinks. We had a drink and walked around seeing the sites. It just so happened that there was a huge wedding going on at the St. Louis Cathedral as we were walking by. We commented on the wedding, church and other wedding things. Well come to find out that on Monday everyone was speculating that the very wedding we passed was Brad Pitt and Angelina Joie marrying. Now I am not silly. I don’t think that they would marry in a typical Catholic Church. First they have both stated they would not marry until it is legal for ANYONE (including same sex couples) to marry. Second, they are not exactly what I would consider Practicing Catholics a requirement to marry in the St. Louis Cathedral. So there you have it, my only brush with almost stardom. For what it is worth.  (For the record, it isn’t worth much in my book either LOL) Turns out the couple weren’t even in New Orleans this week. Oh Well!
