For those people who have always wanted to write their own book but just didn’t know where to go I have found a site that may work for you. It is called AuthorHouse and it is the leading self-publishing company in the world. A self-publishing company means that they help the author to publish their own works without needing to be picked up by a national publishing house. The site is www.authorhouse.com and they help Self Publishing authors by providing all the tools needed to get their works published. Each person is assigned an Author Advocate to help walk them through the process. The author maintains all control over what the final product looks like. They pick the format, the cover art and do all of the editing. The author also controls the royalties from their book. This is a great opportunity for those individuals who would otherwise never get to see their works in print. We are all avid readers (or we wouldn’t be on a book nook site) but how many of us are also accomplished writers who just never got our chance?
