Janet’s Book Nook

Ever since his passing I have been hearing quotes from this book and people have been talking about his book and how amazing it is. I am not usually one to read books by political pundits but I do love Tim Russert so I think I may venture out on this one. This book is a memoir about his father and how his father molded the person he became. I have read nothing but wonderful reviews about this memoir. Many of the reviews I have seen say that it is not too sentimental as many memoirs can be. If any of you have read this one I would love to hear your take on it. I watched today a memorial that was on one of the news channels. It was a remembering of Tim Russert. I have to say that I was impressed by the speeches given by Brian Williams and also Maria Shriver. You can tell by their personalized speeches that Tim Russert was a man that touched many peoples lives. I am hoping that the book will give me a little incite in to how he became the man he was.
