I have been yearning for…no, craving, a glass tile back splash for my kitchen. Right now I have a back splash with the same tiles that are on my counter tops. I have always wanted a back splash made out of those little rectangular glass tiles. They are so classic and they come in so many different colors. I think that what I like best is that they look different from every angle.

I was checking out this store called Glass Tile Store and I found the greatest selection of glass tiles. They come in sheets so that you are installing them one tile at a time. That could be very time consuming when you are using 1X2 glass tiles. They have one that comes in shades of Grey and Bluegrey which are the colors in my stone tiles on the floors and counter tops. So I thought I had made a decision that I was going to change out the back splashes and put in these 1X2 glass tiles.

I never should have surfed further in to their site. I found something I like even better but it could mean that I will be changing out my counter tops too. They are the marble mosaic tiles and they are even nicer for a kitchen the glass ones. They come in a huge assortment of styles and sizes and colors. They are really beautiful and they also come in the 12X12 sheets which will make for an easier installation. I guess I will have to redo the bathrooms so that I can get the glass tiles. Man this renovating thing is never ending. My grandmother always said, "Just when you get it the way you want it, you move out." I hope this isn’t true because this house has been a 5 year labor of love and we bought it brand new.
