Janet’s Book Nook

I was browsing through Oprah’s Book Club website and I found a book that I would love to read. It is a great book for music lovers especially those who love those iconic female singers of the past. The book is called Girls Like Us and it tells the story of Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon and how their lives changed from their beginnings in music in the 1960’s to their lives as facilitators of change for women of every age. They are amazing women who did more than just sing and yet in the end they were women just like the rest of us. I think this is going to be a must read so I am ordering it today. Enjoy!
