We decided that we needed to take in my van next week to get serviced. We have had it since 2005 and I really want to keep it until it is paid off. I only have a year left and it will be totally paid off. Well it has started making weird noises lately so I am going to have to take it in to get checked over next week. When i make a turn I hear this screeching noise. It doesn’t happen all of the time but it does happen occasionaly. My husband seems to think that it might be something in my steering box that needs to be looked at. This makes me very nervous because I have had problems in an old car with power steering and it is nearly impossible to drive when the power steering goes out. I would hate for that to happen with me and the kids in the car. I guess it is better to put the money out now and get that thing fixed then it is to pay later when it goes out and messes up something else.
