As the mom of three kids who are 20 months and 13 months apart my biggest concern is that the day is going to come where they will all be teen drivers at the same time. I loathe the thought of sitting up at night wondering if they are being safe and obeying the rules and if they are actually going where they say they are going. It frightens me to think that I might get a call that they were in an accident only to find out it was in a place they weren’t even supposed to be. I also worry that something will happen where one will disappear and I will not be able to tell the authorities exactly where they last were.

I found out that there is a new technology that is available to parents and business owners and anyone who has to worry about where their vehicles are. They now sell GPS tracking for vehicles that will allow you to go on line and see exactly where your vehicle is at all times. It will even update every 10 seconds so you can see where they are going if they are moving. You can even go to the site for www.liveviewgps.com and find GPS for on the person. It will let you track children, elderly parents, or anyone that you need to be concerned about. It is great for people who hike or ski or end up in areas where they may get lost and have a hard time being found. You can do a constant tracking on them and them and then read the reports later to see where they were or you can see it live and watch them move.

This idea is an amazing one to me but it makes so much sense for parents to be able to find their kids if they need to. Just the idea of knowing that you can find them would make it so much easier for parents to let their children make their own decisions. I would love to try this out and see how it works. It is definitely a technology that will have a place in my home in years to come if I can help it.
