I have to admit that up until now my choice of vacation destinations have been centered around the Southeast of the United States. I grew up in Louisiana and so we never really ventured to far from here. We have been to Florida many times and Texas and even Tennessee. I even ventured as far as to visit New York for work once or twice. One place I have never been though is out towards the West. Texas has always been what I considered to be heading West.
I decided a while ago that I wanted more for my kids in terms of vacation memories than what I had. I would love for my kids to be able to see the Pacific Ocean. While most people heading west might consider California the place to be my first thought was to head to Oregon. What could be a better experience for children than to go somewhere on the opposite tip of the nation from where they live?
I had a friend who actually lives out there and they were telling me that renting a vacation home is the way to go if you are going to be wanting to stay on the beach.Oregon Vacation Rentals is the first place I went when I decided to research vacations in Oregon. When you are staying on a beach it is so much nicer to have a spacious home to stay in than a hotel. There is privacy and more space and all the amenities you would have if it were actually your home. Well this site helps you find the perfect home to rent. They have over 150 homes listed and they are in many different areas along the coastline of Oregon. They list the areas where they have rentals located and give reviews of the areas. The listings show photos of the homes and give you all of the important details that you need in order to rent the property. There is a search function on the site to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
All I needed to do was look at this photo to decided that this is one area I needed to visit:
I can imagine relaxing in that jacuzzi next to the oceanfront beach. Amazing is all I can say. So, needless to say this is one of the items going on my wish list. I have been saving money in a mad money account and when I get it built up each year I plan on using it for something on my wish list. Since we are doing Disney in 2009 I am thinking that Oregon might have to be the destination in 2010. I think I will print this photo as my motivation to save all I can!

Greetings - Found your article on Oregon Beach Vacations and enjoyed reading it. The site you mention is excellent. We specialize in advertising vacation rentals worldwide via Google Searchable Maps and have seen plenty of poor websites. Oregon Beach Vacations is a very nice and navigable website for those looking for Oregon beach vacations. All the best to you.
