Hot time in the summer

Ah the joys of living in Louisiana in the summer. The heat and humidity has been so bad that just getting in to the van when it has been sitting there is akin to walking in to the mouth of a volcano. I no longer need to worry about witness protection programs because my fingertips were burned off by the hot steering wheel this morning. There really is no use in putting on make-up because 2 minutes after entering the van I resemble a bad mock up of Tammy Faye Baker.

Then to top it all off the van I am trying to get at least 6 more months out of seems to have an air conditioner that isn’t running correctly. It could just be in my head but I swear the air is not as cold and it doesn’t come out as fast. So now I am going to have to have it looked at to make sure that the auto air conditioning isn’t going out. My husband says it could be the air compressor…what ever that means. All I care about is that I don’t want to be a steamed lobster.

The only positive is that if something is wrong with it he is very handy and can change it out himself with parts we can get at a good price off of discountacparts.com. They have everything you could need for auto air compressors and they have a warranty and free shipping. At least there is some light at the end of the tunnel…I just hope that light isn’t shining on me until I get this thing fixed.
