I don’t know if my area is the only one who does this but there is a directory that is printed up monthly and it has advertisements in it from all sorts of businesses that cater to kids and families. I LOVE THIS THING! It is free for readers. You just pick it up in the pediatrician’s office, dentists office, children’s clothing stores, shoe stores, dancing schools and anywhere else that kids are found. The advertisers pay for their ads and then they receive copies of the directory. I pick these up overtime I see them because it is really a great resource for moms. I have found all sorts of birthday party info in there for my kids. I also found photographers and caterers and dancing schools. I found my children’s dentist through this directory and I LOVE her. The one in our area is called Kids & Family Northshore and they have a website at www.kidsandfamilyns.com. I know that they also do one for the New Orleans area. I am even thinking that this might be a franchise type thing that women can set up to do in their area if one is not already there. They also have a section in the middle for moms that has things like Avon reps, bra fitting services and work from home opportunities for moms. I love it. I highly suggest that you guys check and see if they are offered in your area and where you can grab a copy each month.
