Janet’s Book Nook

I came across this book on one of my book club sites and immediately knew it would be one I wanted to read. I have a lot on my plate coming up with the Twilight series but I am putting this one on my list of books to order.

This book is written by Liza Campbell who grew up as part of a storied family lineage. Her family is mentioned in Macbeth. Her father was the last Thane of Cawdor and she grew up in a stately castle. Thought it would seem that this would be a story of wealth and privilege it  actually takes a much darker turn. Campbell’s father goes basically insane because of a combination of mental demons, drugs, alcohol and many affairs. In the end he fails to bring the valor to his family name that it has seen through the centuries. His would be the story that ends it all.

I am fascinated by this story and I can’t wait to hear what her side of the story is. Enjoy!
