Janet’s Book Nook

It is quickly coming up on the 4th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the people of Southeast Louisiana are glued to their televisions in fear that we may once again face a major Hurricane on or close to the same date Katrina struck. We should know by the weekend what to expect for Gustave’s land fall but I have to tell you that just the possibility of  it coming to Louisiana again is enough to give me nightmares. There are already discussions about where to go and when to leave. My husband of course thinks home is the best place to be but I just don’t know if I can handle a month of no electricity of the 2 days of harrowing weather again. So it is a waiting game. Hopefully I won’t have to deal with it but I will let you guys know if I am going to be off line for awhile as soon as I know. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
