I spent some time shopping yesterday. I had a few goals for my shopping trip and luckily I got most of them accomplished for the most part. My first goal was to go to the outlet mall in Mississippi and get Disney T-shirts for the kids. I am making 5 sets of tshirts for us using transfer paper and designs created by friends. I am also ordering some from stores online that create shirts. Finally, I wanted some of the cheap pre-made shirts for the kids. We have a habit of going back to the hotel for a break and bathing and changing. We can wear our matching shirts in the morning when we are most likely to get photopass pictures done. When we change the kids will have Disney shirts to put on to go to dinner and a park. This means I don’t have to worry about packing our everyday shirts. We have enough new, clean, unworn and unstained shirts to wear for the trip. They go in the washer and then straight in to the suitcase.
Next I needed to find shoes. I have had terrible luck with athletic shoes lately. I purchased some really expensive walking shoes online and then I haven’t been able to wear them. They hurt my feet terribly. I order all of my other shoes online and I don’t usually have issues with them but I have to admit I am usually buying Crocs. This time I went to the Nike outlet and found a great pair of running shoes so that I can get back to my fitness walking on Monday.
I needed to find some sort of acne products for my skin care regime. I wasn’t able to find that yet. I have had a terrible time with finding something that works well on blemishes. I get them mostly along my hairline and my jawline. They aren’t huge blemishes but just small ones. I need something I can use to spot treat. I was using one by Clinique but I found that it dried my skin out too bad in the area and I ended up with scabs instead of blemishes. I need something more gentle. I guess I will have to keep looking for that one.
Finally, I needed capris for my trip. I ended up having to go to Lane Bryant. I thought my days of shopping there were over but every pair I tried on at other stores felt uncomfortable at the rear end or in my thigh area. I was able to get some great deals at Lane Bryant and they fit well. I guess we have to do what we have to do to be comfortable.

It’s spendy-but I love the Mario Badesco drying lotion for acne.
Oh planning for vacation sounds like so much fun. I had issues finding things that fit as well in my size and while I didn’t like the size I bought I am glad I just sucked it up and went with comfortable. When you are sweaty, gross, and bloated having an extra inch here and there really helps.
I love the Aveda Outer Peace acne line of products. I have been using Aveda products for many years, but I must say the Outer Peace line is by FAR the best products I’ve used so far!
