Titanic’s Last Secrets by Brad Matsen

October 9th, 2008 · No Comments

I have always been completely enthralled by the story of the ill fated Titanic. The unsinkable ship that sunk. I am always looking for material on the subject. I watch every show and documentary I can find on the subject. I decided that it would be good to start reading some books on it. Strangely I have never read any of the books on Titanic.

I noticed in my Book of the Month Club magazine that there is a new book released from Brad Matsen that tries to sort out the facts and fiction on what happened to the Titanic in April of 1912. Matsen not only delves in to information of how the Titanic came to be but he also researched the Titanic’s ultimate demise.

Matsen takes a different approach and tries to prove that Titanic sunk ultimately because it was a badly designed ship. It had design flaws that made it vulnerable and its sinking much less of an extraordinary event. I can’t wait to see where he takes this mystery.
