The Lost Symbol

Those of you who are fans of Dan Brown and the Da Vinci could should be excited. His follow up book titled The Lost Symbol is set to be released on September 15, 2009. This latest book is the third in the series that includes The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. These all revolve around the character Robert Langdon and are what I would call Religious Drama. I know that isn’t an actual category but that is what I call it. They are all fiction but use many historical facts and geographical clues to take the reader on an adventure that involves The Church, The Vatican and history. I happen to love books that use real historical facts in a fiction story. This is why I love the National Treasurer movies. I also loved the Da Vinci Code movie and book for thier entertainment value. I don’t necessarily believe the premise of the book but I think the storyline was interesting and I can see how people could believe them to be plausible. This latest book is supposed to take readers on another Robert Langdon adventure. It will be interesting to see. I bet it will be wildly popular so if you intend to read this one make sure you pre-order it now.  The best part is you can get this book in hardcover, Kindle or audio version. I love the new technology where everyone can enjoy a story no matter what their preferred method of reading.

I really enjoyed reading The DaVinci Code but haven’t managed to read Angels & Demons yet. I am absolutely going to preorder this so that I can be one of the first (for a change) people to read a new book!!!
