Summer Craft Projects

by janet on May 13, 2009

Summer vacation is fast approaching and so I wanted to tell you guys about a place I use to get all of our summer craft project supplies. The site is called KraftyKid.com and they have so many wonderful ideas for kids to keep them busy and help stimulate their imagination. They have craft clubs that you can order where you will receive new kits each month.

They also have projects you can buy as needed. Two of the cutest and most inexpensive I have seen are the Craft Travel Pack for Boys and the Craft Travel Pack for Girls. These packs are only $8.99 and they contain kits, glue, crayons, activity sheet, and assorted toys. Another amazing deal is the Crafts in a Box for Girls/Boys Super Box. This box contains everything to make 20 projects and only costs $24.99.

The kits I have ordered in the past from KraftyKid.com have been really nice. They included projects using beads, feathers, foam board, string and other materials. They were always age appropriate and easy for little fingers to handle by themselves. They also have different themes and can be order for a certain holiday or can even be specified as Christian themed or not.

It is so tough trying to find things for kids to do during the summer. They get bored so quickly and it costs a fortune to try to put them in camps all summer long. This is an inexpensive way to catch their attention. These are also projects that can be done on rainy days when they can’t go outside to play. I love this site and have always had good luck with them. Let me know what you think!
