The weather is beautiful and you love taking your dog to the park or beach. He loves sitting up front with you, even walking across your lap and putting his head out the window. Ohhhh, feel that wind in my face, hes thinking. Your looking at him smiling, people passing you are smiling and waving at him, and then, whoop there it is. That bug in his eye, that rock that flew up and hit him in the face, that awful yelp from from your pet. Why, because you foolishly let him hang his head out the window. Please, don’t do this, for the safety of your pet. There are thousands of visits every year to animal emergency of this nature, because the not so responsible pet owner stupidly let that dogs head out the window, and there was a quick stop, or a foreign object imbedded in the eye, or some sort of catastophe to their pet which could have been avoided if they would have put their pet properly in their seat with their doggie seat belt. Don’t let your pet be one of the thousands that get hurt, or even killed on that beautiful fall day while heading to the store or park. Don’t put him in the back of your pickup and assume he will not jump out, I can’t tell you how many dog owners have told me that their pet never jumps out, hes too well trained. Unforseen circumstance can cause that dog to jump. They are your children, treat them as such and be safe with your pet while driving.
Keep that dogs head in the window
