If you use any type of mulch containing cocoa bean, beware, it is hazardous to your pet. Just like chocolate, the mulch contains theobromine which are toxins for your dog. Because of that great chocolate smell coming from the mulch, your dog, especially puppies will be drawn to it, and may ingest some. This is potentially fatal for you dog.
