I’m sure by now most of you have heard about the largest recall of beef ever in the USA. Personally, I am so thoroughly disgusted after seeing the videos of the abused cattle, the I don’t ever want to eat beef again, not that I do anyway. I personally don’t like the taste of it, but to see this atrocity makes me sick. I wonder who the heck could even work in that slaughterhouse. What kind of person does it take to pick downed cattle up with fork trucks, and beat them till they try to stand up, and yank them by the tail, pulling them around. Now, I’m not stupid enough to not realize that, yes, cattle are bred to eat, that they are the mainstay of Americans diet, but I also know that while they are destined to be slaughtered, they can at least be treated humanely. After all, they are giving their lives for people to eat. Its beyond sick to me that people can treat an animal that way, any animal, even one that is going to be killed. If they can do that sort of thing, what must they be able to do to humans also. Makes me wonder.
