I had to make a video for the shopping website, Sunshine Rewards, that I work for so I decided to use my horse. The video is for the big Christmas in July sale we are having. I thought, hey, why not use my horse Scatman, put his reindeer antlers on him, my santa under the palm trees shirt, and I’m good to go. He was so good for the video. He did bite at the flys a few times, but he didn’t even move. I sat bare back on him, too lazy to put a saddle on, and too hot. Didn’t even put a bridle on him, just a lead line. The video turned out ok. It took me 3 tries, and by time I did the third one, I was sweating so bad in the 90 degree weather with jeans and long sleeve shirt, that I decided that was it. Plus, I didn’t know how much more Scatman would tolerate. So, if you want to see my reindeer wanna be, look at the video. He really is a sweet horse when he wants to be, and I guess at 32, he can be a little cranky when he wants to be.
