Years ago when testing was done on foods to see if our pets were being put back into pet food, the DNA for lamb could not be found in the lamb and rice food tested. Ann M. As the pet parent of an American Eskimo which is a breed known for sensitivities to food and vaccines, I prefer to use a food formulated by a vet that I personally know and that I can get within 6 weeks of it being made because I care about my pet's health. Food labels can still be deceiving. I would advise anyone to call the toll-free number on the bag of food and see if they are satisfied with the response that they get or better yet, see if they can actually talk with someone that formulated the food.
